I’ve been MIA recently and focusing on different things in my life, but I’m still trying to balance everything out to be able to share with all of my readers. Also, it’s been a year since launching My Curly Mess and I’m so excited! It’s been a hard, busy, but amazing journey this year so far. Some of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had have been to be able to share some of the coolest stays from Airbnb and Glamping Hub with you! Here’s a recap:

The Dove Elements Treehouse – Flinstone, GA

This stay can be for up to 4 guests! There’s a bed on the main floor and two twin size beds on the loft (has an awesome window roof view! click the link). Babe and I went with my sister and brother in law. We ordered pizza, played Monopoly, and even had s’mores outside in the fire pit (hosts are great!). This was my very first coolest stay ever and I won’t ever forget it!

P.S. My sister got engaged here that night!

Airstream Glamping – Ellijay, GA

This stay was a taste of Glamping for sure! It was more ‘outdoorsie’ for us which was out of the ordinary and a unique experience. The Aistream can fit up to 4 guests, it has a shower both inside and outdoors, but the coolest thing about this stay is the Japanese tub! You have to see it! (click the link). Rebekah, the host, was awesome!

Geo Dome – Ellijay, GA

This stay is one of the most spacious ones I’ve been in. The dome can be for up to 4 guests and has some cool stuff inside! (click the link) It has a shower and tub outdoors, so perfect for the Summer! One of the coolest things I like about this stay is that you get to enjoy the outdoor scenery and can relax in the tub outdoors while you see chickens walking around the grass just living life!

Hobbit Hole – McEwen, TN

This stay was one of our favorites! I love all of “The Hobbit” movies and this whole stay is related to it (includes the map on one of the walls) click the link! The coolest part of this stay is that you literally get to experience a hobbit hole but also, you have access to the paths around the property at Rock ‘n Refuge and enjoy a summer walk, relax in the hammocks by the lake, or take your bikes around the bike path! Catie and her dad were great people and amazing hosts!

Fulton Guest House – Hampton, GA

This stay was the closest one to home for us so the drive was perfect! I can tell you that this stay made us feel like we were at a resort in Atlanta! It was one of the most relaxing places we could enjoy a mini vacation and such a good place to reconnect with your love. Our favorite parts here, other than the cool farm, was the sauna, Jacuzzi, and pool! David and Janet were the sweetest and kindest people and also the owners of the Guest House.

This is just a small recap of big and unforgettable memories! Thank you to all the hosts who have supported my adventures and have contributed to My Curly Mess with a piece I will always cherish in the beginning of my stories.
